I’ve been contacted lately about photography. Especially since people know I live in the dark 6 months of the year. Come fall and winter I go to work and return home in the dark. That can present some challenges for snapping pictures.
Natural light is obviously best. However, I work full time about 15 minutes from town so running home to shoot at 1:12pm is not ideal most days.
I’ve found a table top light that gives great results and takes the pressure off since I can shoot at all hours!
Amazon sells the Lowel EGO table top lamp. Set up is so easy. It’s light weight and has helped me take some nice looking pictures. I highly recommend it if you’re running short on daylight hours. Just like natural light I set my aperture first – usually around 3.5-4 , then the ISO. It depends what I’m shooting but typically a safe bet is 200.
