We have recently returned from an amazing vacation in Mexico and I can honestly say I am happy to be home. Even though we were totally spoiled with the sun, ocean and every meal prepared for us, I’m ready to get back to my routine of cooking for my family. The weather has been wonderfully warm so I’m still looking for easy, no fuss meals so we can get back outdoors before the season changes. Let’s not even think about what’s around the corner! School’s out for summer! It’s funny the same kids who don’t care to eat breakfast on a school day are so demanding of breakfast the second they wake up now that it’s summer break! I’m finding my snack supply is pulling a disappearing act as well. Perhaps they’re gearing up for all the free time to do chores around the house??…
Somebody pinch me! I’m so excited to be partnering with Dairy Farmers of Canada. Each month I’ll be receiving a box that showcases the cheese of the month. I really don’t think mail can get much better than cheese delivery! Canada produces a number of award winning cheeses that I can’t wait to share each month. Awhile back, my mom and I had a long weekend getaway to celebrate her birthday. There was shopping, ridiculously early bedtimes, sight seeing and of course a lot of food.
