Camping season is upon us! Boy things sure have changed from how I used to camp as a kid. Tenting it with the family, circle two in Jasper, Alberta. Circle two was for motorcycles only. This Friday we’re going healthy! Well not exactly healthy but healthier with avocado brownies. They’re butter and flour free but still totally cake night worthy.
I started out replacing only the butter with the avocado but then found a little mystery bag in the cupboard. Ahh yes, leftover ground almonds. There always seems to be little bags of this and that leftover with no real purpose. I’m trying to do less tossing and more using. So the flour got replaced as well….

Heyyyy high five, it’s the weekend!
I’ve been eating oatmeal and salad all week trying to get ready for our trip across the border. I lost two pounds so now it’s time to celebrate with brownies! And that is why I’ll be on Weight Watchers for life. I lose a few pounds and automatically go for chocolate! Although with WW you do get those precious flex points so all 49 of mine will be allocated to these almond joy brownies. Probably in one sitting. That’s why I’ve stuck with it for so long. Any plan that allows cake is a plan for me!…
Sinful because it was just Halloween and I already made brownies! I guess the bag of mini chocolate bars weren’t enough. Also, they might have only lasted two nights in the house.
What else am I going to do with the left over m&m’s packages? Seriously, kids in my neighborhood – I would have hooked you up! This is what happens when you have trick or treat aged kids at home. We’re out going door to door and miss most of the kids. Except for those that come around at 9pm. Ummm sure, these pj’s are totally my costume….
