Nothing makes me smarten up like booking a beach vacation. I was super lucky and won round trip airfare for two so we’re heading to Hawaii in May!! It’s our first time heading to the island and I’ve been consulting the nearby restaurant feature on google maps all week. So far I’ve found enough “must go” spots that I’m bound to gain any lost weight back but that’s my thing. Lose, gain, lose, gain. Fun stuff!

I’m just stepping out of my two week fog here. Christmas, check, New Years, check! I’m still quite confused on the day and how the heck I didn’t gain any holiday weight! Pretty sure I polished off at least two boxes of chocolates myself. Plus all the extras and extras on top of the extras. Even though my jeans are still fitting(ish) I’m feeling pretty bogged down….
I knew by now we would be getting super bored with the same old school and work lunches so I made a bunch of these Freezer Burritos to save the day!

Well the weather has turned and that usually means I’m just about ready to enter cold weather hibernation mode. These chilly nights make me want to lock the doors and get better acquainted with my long lost tv friends. Cooler temperatures also give me the feeling of throwing good eating habits out the door but I’ve made a commitment to keep up with healthier breakfasts. Once I start the day with something healthy it helps keep me going in the right direction all day….
